Designed by interior designer Joana Astolfi in a deeply intimate style, and run with the audacity and creativity of Chef Vitor Matos, with the daily support of Chef Vitor Gomes and sous-chef Carolina Columbano, this unique haute cuisine project in the Douro is a true “ode to Portuguese gastronomy.”
Each 10-course gastronomic journey (€180 per person) at Schistó is an exploration of the region's ingredients and the elegant wines of Quinta da Vacaria, carefully selected by Carlos Eduardo, the restaurant's sommelier (€80 per person).
And if we add to the exquisite combination of produce and advanced cooking techniques the idyllic and intimate setting designed by Studio Astolfi, we are sure that all the ingredients are in place for a unique gastronomic experience in the region.
In an intimate dining room with only 14 seats, open Tuesday to Saturday evenings from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
"A modern and contemporary kitchen full of charisma and identity, with notable influences from the region."
